Summer Term 2003

"Cutting Edge Technology in the Field!"
Use GPS and handheld GIS units to collect data in the field, then analyze and model the data back at the University. Field work on individual projects and retrieval of available topographic and other supporting GIS data will lead to production of a professional level database and maps relevant to a current environmental issue. See course description for more thorough information.
Definitely appropriate for geology, biology, ESR and anthropology majors, as well as others interested collecting field data.
